Default A bit of hope when I'm down -Suggestion

I've only posted a few times, but I'm sure it's quite apparent that I feel like finding a companion is hopeless given my mental state. I just wanted to share that watching the movie "Benny and Joon" ALWAYS helps me when I'm down. And I suggest anybody who feels like they're misunderstood should try and remember that we may find companionship when you least expect it. And I really truly hope that there are people (or maybe even that there is just ONE person) out there that can fall in love, romantically, with you as you are. That's my wish.

"True love" is worth waiting for.....in the mean time, take the time to live, grow strong, and learn to love yourself. When you can love yourself, you will attract that special someone who can love you too for who you really are inside. I have waited all of my life and been in two long-term relationships before finding true-love. I wouldn't trade anything for it. There is always hope. (I am not a spring-chicken either..)

Thank you for the response. It's hard for me because I know the break up was meant to happen, but the OCD doesn't let me let go of it. I get locked inside of my head with my thoughts and seriously almost think myself to death. When I can't find the answers to my questions, like "What is he thinking? What is he doing right now? He's probably happy with her, isn't he?" it drives me crazy and the only way I can make it stop is by either hitting my head with my hands or thinking about ending it all.

My friends think it's just "Manda, you'll meet someone new, who cares?" but it's more than that too. It's me not being able to let go of things. I'm trying hard to though because I honestly can't function.

I'm glad that your patience paid off in finding someone. That gives me so much hope
