Was to reach out my hand for help, to save my life, to realize that I am worth it, that my life is worth it, no matter how sorry I feel having to do it, and admit it up front, for anyone and everyone to read it. And why put it here?? In hopes that it will give others courage to do the same when they find themselves faced with that awful choice, feeling that it is the only answer to the pain they face. After Dad died, I wanted to die too. Desperately. I also reached out and I have no shame admitting I had felt that way, or that I sought help. I talk freely and openly about my plan to go be with Dad. Talking, is the only way to bring suicide out of the darkness.

Thank you my friends!!! I am truly grateful to have friends like you who sooooo 'get it'!!! I simply can't talk to family, I wish I could. It's so important for me to have friends that I can reach out to. That person that I can talk to, when I finally get the courage to do it, has the potential to save my life, and give me the hope I need when I can't see it anymore. Thank you for being my hope!! The call I got today and the call I made saved my life. I am grateful to God for answering my anguished prayers today.
