Well, since you asked... I need to give you a little background here. Our church is VERY small and our regular choir is tiny...about 10 on a good Sunday..and..how can I say this..The Vienna Boys Choir they are not.

Every Christmas we have a Cantada...and the choir director pleads for anyone in the congregation to join in the production. So to have a choir
of 25 voices this morning was just HUGE for us....and loud. Mr.Alffe asked me how he did and I said, "I couldn't hear him...that was a good thing...he blended right in".

We all enjoyed it...now if Mr.Alffe will just stop circling me...

I'm here kinda.

Spent the whole weekend at Granddoody's house and babysat him last night.

This morning mommy and daddy slept in as grandma took care of little doody. He loves me now I know. He knows who I am. We bonded a lot this morning, giggled and laughed and had a ball.

Last night after din din, grandma bathed little doody. He was happily playing with his tub toys and prattling on and on to me in some foreign toddler language. Suddenly lots of little bubbles popped up behind him and he looked up at me and grinned a big grin.

Following said bubbles, grandma saw 2 little turdies float to the top. LMAO!

ewww

Can't believe the weekend is almost over. So what are your plans for the week? I have a LONG to do list to complete before I leave Saturday. Including buying a few more Xmas presents and packing. I have to finish cleaning and drop off a load at Goodwill and the library. I hope I have enough time to get everything done since that means I have to wake up early to do it all before work or late at night.

Okay, so the weekend's practically over. But I thought I'd check in anyway. I hope you all got your plans carried out in fine order, leaving you set for a wonderful week ahead!

Curious, how many garages DO you have, BTW?

Kell, I hope you finally got every last one of those awful little fleas. I know what an aggravation that can be.

Alffe, how DID the mister look in his choir robe? Maybe Miss Monkey will share one of those turtles with me...

Or maybe Julie has a leftover cookie? We had to bake tons of them for a bake sell for our daughter's library club, but I didn't get a one...

Most of my weekend was taken up with my daughters' annual Christmas dance performances. But they looked absolutely great up there on stage.

I wish everyone a great week, and lots of {{{{{hugs}}}}}.

In fact, it doesn't matter what the temp of the water is! Actually, it was too cool because mommy and daddy had both taken showers, the dishwasher was running, and so we had a very warmish bath. LOL Turdies come in all temps!

Off to work I go again.

I think i got all em all..But everyone knows how it goes with fleas!!!
I have to vacuum everyday for the next month and stay on top of things!!
What a nightmare this has been......
I am sure it could have been worse though..We dont have flea bites on our legs or anything..but i sure have cleaned an awful lot..LOL

Alffe i would have loved to been able to hear the choir sing
Whether you could hear Mr alffe or not.I am sure he looked absolutely
handsome up there in his robe "looking like" he was singing loud..heehee
I haven't been to an old fashioned church singing in ..well...too long!!

Doody you made laugh reading about grandoody lil floaters...LOL
I dealist
I know you were proud of your girls!!!
I bet they were happy to know their dad was out in the audience watching..
I had a very good visit with my son yesterday..Long overdue actually.
I worry about him.He is so young with the weight of the world on his mind!
I'm happy to hear everyone had a good weekend.
This is the last week before christmas....
Shoppers will be out and about..Be safe everyone!

Well here it is Wednesday already...time is flying by. It just doesn't seem very much like Christmas without the snow but then I think of places like Florida that manage nicely without the white stuff.

I spotted the little deer again at church...am taking another corn block over even tho that ground isn't frozen.

I had to make another batch of cereal snack because Mr.Alffe got into it..

My sister was cleaning out her closets and found a stack of old journals my Dad had written. She was so right about not being able to put them down. I'd forgotten what an intellectual he was and I just adore the way he expresses himself....the weather was "raw", they had a "visitation"..a raccoon. LOL And he raged about LBJ and the VietNam War.

It's nice to be "back in business" here...missed this place.
