I wonder how I miss NT and I'm glad with everything changing I now have more time for you all...sorry to have been absent but thank you all forwelcoming me back in from the rain :hugs:

I wonder about arms full of babies? What have I missed?

I wonder about everyones hot days...we've had nothing but rain rain rain.

I wonder about everyone who's planting, I want to start a small garden but have no idea where to begin.

I wonder about how all of you are tonight:hug:

I wonder if I can put a smile on your face with a joke I heard from my friends 8 year old son.

"What kind of food do frogs eat at the movies?"

"Hopcorn" :)

I wonder if I can tell you all what a wonderful evening I had with my BFF last night? We had lots of goodfood, and an evening full of the best girl talk. It was soooo good. :)

I wonder if I can tell Alffe that it's really easy to grow potatoes? Just get a couple of your very favourite variety, and leave them in the cupboard until you see some little shoots coming out of the eyes. They don't have to big, little ones are OK. Then....... cut the potato into pieces, making sure you have at least one eye per piece of potato, then plant the pieces in the garden with the eye upwards.... about 18 inches apart.

As the plant starts to grow, you'll need to heap the soil up around the roots and stem, or your pototoes will get exposed to the sun and they won't be any good. Leave the plants in the ground until the green leaves etc. starts to die off, then dig them up and enjoy your buckets full of your own home grown spuds.

We started with 2 small potatoes, cut them into pieces where the eyes were, and then planted them. When we harvested our crop, the 2 we started with gave us around 5lbs of our favourite potatoes. Yum!

I was also wondering if Alffe has found out yet what type of music racoons prefer? :D

I wonder how pleased I was to see grand-Doody's latest photos, and to read that Doody's mom is doing well at home. Thank you for that update Doody, and thank you Lara for asking for it.

I wonder how everyone is handling the heat? I'm really cold here at times, but one of our family here kindly sent me a blazing woodfire to keep me warm. Thank you BMW.

I wonder how Nikki is faring, and if Mistiis has left on her trip yet, and if DejaVu's flu will leave her soon, and I wonder about Wren, and Goofy, and BJ.... are you all doing OK? I wonder about all our family! :grouphug:

I wonder if anyone has heard lately from Moi or Moss? I wonder how they're managing with the grandmoisses and an upcoming operation?

I wonder if I can tell you that if I didn't mention you by name it doesn't mean I don't think about you, but that I include you now as I leave hugs for the room. :grouphug:

I wonder if it's too late to start the potatoes this year...

I wonder how long it takes for them to grow....

I wonder how much room they need...........

I wonder what all the blooming vines are I planted...can't tell the squash, from the cukes, from the melon (one melon) and I think I'm getting another little cauliflower....Sweet

I wonder why Koala thinks I have racoons...I have flying squirrels in my walls..........:D

I wonder if Doody has trapped that racoon yet!....

FeelinGoofy 06-26-2009 11:41 PM

i wonder if Koala knows my mom has already harvest her potatoes and she had a bumper crop......

I wonder about Michael Jacksons children and what is going to happen to them :(

I wonder if i can tell you about the concert i just got home from. The Air Force band gave a concert and we took a bus load of seniors from work. we had such a good time and the music was awesome.

I wonder if its really going to cool down into the 90s tomorrow

I wonder if Alffe would like to know that I imagine it's pretty easy to grow potatoes. I used to grow my own Kumara (what we call the yellow sweet potatoes). That was really great. You don't really need heaps of room like pumpkins for example but the best way I found is to made a garden bed with raised edges (a couple of feet high or more if possible) and fill with good crumbly soil mix and you can get heaps. Only problem was that when I used to go hunting for them in the soil with the pitchfork I'd sometimes spear them by mistake. lol I forget how long they took to grow though. It took a while I recall. They need a long summer too, which is certainly what we have here.

I wonder if Koala has possums there that sound as if they're wearing Doc Marten boots as they scamper across (or in  ) the roof. I love our possums. They seem to like me too, which is a little strange, but heck it's probably cupboard love... lovingly chopped pieces of fresh paw paw and other fruit LOL Oh dear. :)

Ok, long wonders, more later.

Koala77 06-26-2009 11:57 PM

I wonder if I can pop back with some add ons?

I wonder if I can take a red face over Doody's racoon, and Alffe's flying squirrells? :o Ooops!

I wonder that Lara must have had relatives of the Tassie possum on her roof at some stage, if she already knows what type of heavy boots they wear at night, although I'm sure our's must wear Blunstones, as they make much more noise than Doc Martins! :)

I wonder if I'm remembering right when I say that potatoes take about 2 months to mature? I guess if one really did wonder, then another of our more avid gardeners could have more accurate information.

I wonder if I've already wondered too much today, so had better go and leave room for some-one else to wander/wonder.

mistiis 06-27-2009 05:57 AM

I wonder if Manda will know that she doesn't bring people down here, getting on the floor and helping each other up is what we do.....:D

I wonder how we will handle our three dogs when the movers come to pick up the furniture today....

I wonder how it is going to be in this big house when it is empty, and we are using paper plates, and sleeping on air mattresses until we leave on the 2nd....

I wonder that our trip will be an adventure....:o :) DD wants to see the grand canyon

I wonder if I can get some anti-anxiety med for Kalani....

I wonder how much I love all my friends here...and leave some BIG HUGS for our room. :grouphug:

Alffe 06-27-2009 06:02 AM

I wonder what cupboard love is.......:D

I wonder how fast I can get a potato to sprout...I have room for a couple..

I wonder how sweet that was for Barbo to share...that's what families do..:circlelove:

I wonder about the phone call I was asked to make yesterday...family came home and found their 15 yr old son hanging..he'd been bullied at school...:(

I wonder if Koala knows I love it when she wonders....*grin

I wonder if I can leave David a hug..... and a reminder to take his own great advice...YOU take care of YOU.
