woke up with an ear ache.... so decide not to go to church and stayed home and rested. We got up to 105 yesterday.... they said we'll be there again today. Summer is definately here......

I've been cooking a little and freezing some...don't want to be working when company is here... Tonight we are going to a BBQ that is a fund raiser for Suicide Prevention..they are having a silent auction. I'm wondering how well attended it will be as there's "stuff" going on downtown, including some fireworks that will compete. Also it's outside and it's cold here...can you believe it...in July!!

I miss Lara and wonder where she's gotten to.
And Goofy, my door is always open! How do you feel about riding in a trunk.

Heh. Whoever is planning to go in my trunk better hurry! It's filling up with people like GmaSue, LOL! She's so early, I had to go outside and drag her outta the trunk and bring her in! (And she thought I didn't know she was in there!)

Luckily, it is so COOL here she wasn't suffering too much.

I can NOT believe this weather! I hope it's nice and cool next week at Alffe's. Usualy we have pretty hot weather when I go there.

Gots any good farmer's markets goin on there Ms. Alffe??

Yummy, can already taste those hottub mudslides. Ahhhh.

Did I ever tell you guys that when you sit in the hottub with Ms. Alffe at night...and you're drink gets low....Mr. Alffe suddenly appears from the dark of the back porch and says, "Can I refresh your drinks ladies?" Two of the best people you'd ever want to meet.

My plate this morning started with me and granddoody racing his new motorcycle and monster truck. Of course he gave me the monster truck because it takes bout 10 seconds longer to take off, LOLOL!

Also got to see my new neighbor's precious LuLu! She is a HUGE bassett hound and absolutely adorable.

My best friend will be showing up after a bit. Poor thing. Her water heater busted the same day she returned from a nice vacation to Chicago. They can't put in the new one til next week.

((Vic)) I'm empathasizing with you. My TMJ suddenly flared yesterday and my ear and jaw hurt like a houseafire.

Guess I'll go soak in my bath and forget about any more chores for this day.

I wanted to stay home in the dark all day... but... I promised my friends son (10 yr old) that I would go with him and his mom when she takes him up north this evening....

He's staying the year with his birth father....

I'm gonna miss him...

I made lead person at work. I do have to say this...
a person can say they want work can say they are a good worker and talk up a storm about it but in life .. with most things it is not what you say or how often you say it... it is the doing and a saying comes to mind "show me dont tell me".
so yea for me a small raise but it feels so good I wanna do a happy dance...

I was going to say "have fun ladies".... but what a waste of words that would be.



I do hope you get some photos that you'll both be willing to share....... especially in those cute swim suits we've heard so much about.

My week is so busy.... i have company coming from Kansas tomorrow. but they have to stay in a hotel tomrrow night as i have to work... we're having a Hawaiian party at work complete with Polynesian dancers!!!!! alot of mixed drinks too.... its so funny when the residents have had a couple of drinks. Some of them get really silly. Wednesday i hang with my friends from Kansas and they stay the night, i work thrusday for a person who is on vacation, THEN i work friday and friday night too... we're having this DJ come and do karaoke and since i'm the only one who can sing i have to go help sing. THEN the best of all Saturday is my 22 anniversary.... (no details)
Sunday we are going to a reunion of sorts.... alot of people i grew up with are going to be in town so we are all meeting at the church we use to go to then are going out to eat afterwards.....
