alright...logo...if somebody will come up with something, I'll photoshop it...

that'll be my contribution...

as far as locations go...well, I like the mountains...

Great Smokey's mountains sound good to moi...

Not Shallow Enough

I think part of the Logo problem is that we're just too deep to be reduced that way. Pre-happy? How do you show a smile that doesn't quite reach the eyes?

As for location, I'm good with any place but Disney World. All that artifical happiness drives me crazy.

Like others, I have a barn that I could offer up. I like barns - but I still think we should go five-star hotel: sauna, massages, maybe even melon balls. Come on people - we are so worth melon balls!:highfive:

The Chinese has an expression that til this day, I couldn't find a similar expression/phrase in English

we have a word when translated directly means:

"bitter smile" 苦笑

a bitter smile is not truly a smile, nor is it a real forced one. It is one that happens when can't help but have to do a form of curving their lips upwards yet they are full of bitter and angst on the inside. But to the on-lookers, it looks like an odd smile (that's bitter)

but that is too esoteric....

If someone can find Atlantis, I think would be a great place for the pre-happynites. I think there were a lot of pre-happynites there. They were a society full of rich, intelligent inhabitants until they sunk...

*shrug....as they say, onwards and upwards...(in this case, downwards for the Atlantians. LOL)

To Hockey

I knew when I read your first post that you would be our intelligent "class clown" with friends galore. I have been pre-happy since I first heard the term in one of your letters, and it makes me feel better. Will think about a logo. Love your posts! billie;)

Hockey

If "up by your bootstraps" makes you feel snappy,
You're not depressed, just pre-happy.

"For those too happy, put a HOCKEY Pock right in them there molars...
I know I am pre-happy because when I smile, I don't show my teeth...."

(sorry, I am the world's worst LOGO builder...I am great at LEGO's, though...)

5 Questions re: creating a Logo

1. Name of the service/product:
2. Any slogans to use?:
3. Any specific color schemes in mind?:
4. What are you trying to convey through the logo?:
5. Any other specifics:Edited

Alffe 08-19-2009 05:58 AM

I too, am clueless! :o

reyn 08-22-2009 03:24 PM

 re: logo

will there be a flip-side to it or double-sided (like two sides to a coin) or tri-sided (like truth--your/their side, my side, the actual truth side) or a ball/sphere (hmm--my brain bounced into outer space on that one) that is spinning/rotating clockwise or counter-clockwise or out of control?

Thanks for the laughs!
