Default Endolymphatic sac anomaly

I have a friend who recently started feeling dizzy. Several days after the dizziness started, he had a new onset of hearing loss (94%) in the right ear.
After having a CT scan (nothing showed up) he was ordered an Mri.

Radiologist impression-large rt endolymphatic sac anomaly.

4 weeks later, hearing has improved but not completely- and the dizziness still persist. His pcp has set him up with a neuro apppoint after prescribing ativan/predisone his symptoms. Has anyone else suffered from this? If so-what was the plan of treatment? Any comments would be appreciated by my friend!
Thank You
