Hi Everyone,
First off I'm glad to find out that after doing a bunch of research that I'm not alone in feeling like there is limited help. I'm 23 and was recently diagnosed with a rather large tarlov cyst. I have a majority of the symptoms but the spine specialist I saw passed it off as being degenerative disc disease. He only prescribed me an anti-inflammatory which I feel like make the pain in my tailbone worse (or it's all in my head). I know most of you feel my pain (no pun intended) on the inability to sit for long periods of time. I almost feel like I've been sitting on a rock or the way I like to refer to it as accidentally sitting on a seatbelt! Has anyone had any kind of luck with a specialist in the Boston area? At this point, I'll even take someone in the New England area. Better yet, has anyone had any luck with over the counter medications? I feel like the specialist I'm seeing isn't going to do much for me. HELP! ![]() |
