I was diagnosed with Tarlov cysts a year ago but was told it was of no concern. I decided to go back to my primary Dr. and have him refer me to a Dr. that can look at that Pelvic MRI and tell me why are of no concern. I have several at S3 level, 1.4c.
Is that big or small size? I have Vulvodynia and Small Fiber neuropathy in feet/legs. I'm wondering if the Vulvodynia is a result of having those cysts. I do have some Lidocaine patches here but not sure exactly where to put them. Can someone advise me or do I have to ask the Dr. |

3/11/14. a m Jewels, Try reading Tarlov Cyst Foundation website. And you can always call Reta directly. She has history w cysts as well. Very knowledgeable. Size. Ask her. Mine were cluster of '3 sm 8 mm at S1" symptoms progressing to leg weakness and numbness. Had it off and on but more so lately. Scarey. I put half patch on cyst area. It does help. Dr said leave off at nite as they could make me wakeful. They don't. Good luck with them. JeanKNC |
