Default Tarlov disc v lumbar canal stenosis

Hello. New here. I do have a 1.6 cm tarlov disk in the s1 area, but also severe stenosis irritating nerve roots? Anyone have this issue and if so, how did the md determine which was causing the pain? Thank you. And throwing hugs out to my fellow pain sufferers.

Hi. I'm from Australia and gave the same problem as yourself. Knowing that only a small percentage of tarlov Cysts are not symptomatic I'm trusting my neurosurgeons who also treats tarlov Cysts in saying my symptoms are caused by my stenosis. I'm having another MRI this week with consideration of having a discectomy in 2 places.
