hi there...i am new to this forum and am looking for others that have this diagnosis that have been having problems finding help...i only recently was diagnosed and have had severe back problems for many years...i saw a neurosurgeon earlier this week who told me that these cysts do not cause pain...of course he could not tell me what was causing my severe arm pain despite the fact that there are new cysts (they were not there last year at this time) and no explanation for my arm pain...the cysts are cervical with one in the lumbar area which he refused to even discuss with me...so if you have any names of mds that are open to this diagnosis being painful i would appreciate the info...thanks and take care all...lisa
