Default Did Doydie go to the MD?

She asked us to remind her earlier to not forget her Tuesday appointment. I have holes in my head and forgot to write this yesterday.

I hope she made it!

Thanks! I went today although I didn't like him. He had a dead pan attitude and bedside manner. Plus their small group of neurosurgeons share on office with an infectious disease doctor and it was his day to have the office plus a few new patients for the surgeons. So I have no idea who sat in my chair last or who was on my examination table. Every patient in the reception room was sitting ion there taking about their latest MRSA infection or any other kind!!! But what the doctor said did make sense. I have had these weird sensations in my leg and foot for absolutely years and have had several lumbar MRIs during that time that did not show spinal stenosis or arthritis of the spine.

So he gave me several options that he might have to help

Live with it
See a pain specialist
See an anesthesiologist for an injection
Prescription for Neurontin
Physical therapy

I already take Aleve and it didn't help at all, I am on Tegretol so I am wondering what will happen if I take Tegretol and Neurontin together and accepted the recommendation for PT. I start tomorrow. I was going to start a separate thread to ask about taking the two meds together.

Because he was such a dead pan personality and I didn't like it that he shared on office with an infectious disease doctor I won't go back to him.

Im with you! dont put immune compromised patients in the same chair as MRSA patients please! Makes ya want to bring a beach towel to drape across the chair, and then huck it into a garbage bag when they call your name!

no no no keep that away from me!
