So, the show I have been looking forward to all summer premiered last night. I was not disappointed.

His first Guests were Jerry Seinfeld (sort of a has been but was funny)
Oprah came in through sat. feed.

Kayne West was scheduled to perform with some other rappers I don't know their names, and he sat down with Jay before the performance, which was apparently not scheduled to chat about his problem the night before.

I thought the show as over all a success, the comedy bit with Obama was great, the Headlines were funny, the opening act with "The Dan Band" was very stupid in my opinion.

Anyone else watch it? Thoughts?

I watched it! It had some really funny bits, headlines were hilarious. The singers were Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna (one of the few rap songs I actually like ). I only got to see part of tonight's show, but it was good as well.

I planned to watch but missed it too - sleeping off a migraine. I'll try again next week. There was a lot of talk about the Kanye thing though. Wow, bad form!

i was going to watch it, but heard that Kanye used the awards show as a publicity stunt to get folks to watch him on the Leno show. I chose to not watch simply because he was on it. isnt that awful?

I am nodding off by the time this show comes on anyway.
