Default How Are All Of Our SouthEastern Folks???

I've been reading about the storms and the flooding plagueing you all, in the SouthEast!!!

Are you all alright? I am so sorry for the death and damage these storms have caused you. Please let us know if we can be of some help..

Kelly, I read about a little toddler being swept out of his father's arms, in GA..

I think you mean Southeastern, Sally. In the Southwest we are still waiting for some rain before the monsoon season ends for another year.

LOL, Sally. I was sitting here wondering what the heck happened here in the southwest that I didn't know about.

The weather is the southeast is terrible right now and I pray for all those being effected by it.

I'm OK but there are thousands of others who aren't as fortunate. It's been a terribly rough week here in GA. I think last count was 8 dead. It's sunny out now but there is a chance of rain for the next seven days. I hope it all stays away so we can dry out.

The Methodist church in downtown Lawrenceville is now being used as a shelter for folks who can't return to their homes just yet. The Red Cross has several shelters all over the state - mostly in the northern section of the state.

Please keep praying for everyone. It looks like the worst is over for now.

Sally,
While I'll never ask you for directions, I knew where you meant. I'm glad Kitty checked in, now I hope Mamma does. And Who Moi and Spanish Moss, they're in NC. Anybody else?

Kitty - glad you checked in and hope you stay dry. This is kind of an abnormal thing in that area, isn't it? What was that, I thought I heard about 20 inches af rain in a week? Yikes!

I talked to Momma this afternoon and she's high and dry. Well....she's dry. No really, she's fine.
