Glad to hear you didn't get any ice! That really makes moving around miserable. It's in the upper 30's here in NE Pennsylvania tonight, so I'm assuming we'll probably get our first hard frost of the season. Still had some flowers blooming, but they were looking kind of "spindley" -- is that a word???? The weather people are calling for some light wet snow by the end of the week.
Looks like we're going to have a yucky winter to match the yucky summer we had with so much rain. The trees don't seem as colorful this year and someone told me it was due to so much rain. The trees seem to be just dropping their leaves. Suppose it's time for the oil bill to start going up again. :(
dej -- I remember driving up Mt. Washington back in the '70's and it was freezing at the top -- in July!!
