Default Ever lose something and it drives you nuts?

A couple of weeks ago, I cleaned my closet out, and now I'm looking for something that I can remember putting...somewhere...while I was cleaning, but for the life of me, I cant find it.

and it's driving me bananas! My brain hurts trying to figure out where I put it.

Is this an MS thing, or just a "I cleaned my closet and left my brain in there somewhere" thing?

Driving me nuts...why cant I remember?

Yes,I've done this and still many months later can't remember where I put what I'm looking for. I think most people do this every now and again, but we have the MS we can blame if we need to..lol

I'm blaming the MS.

I think I may have figured out where it went...I think I might have thrown it out. (it's easily replaceable, just irritating that I have to spend more money to replace it)

I think it may even be in the trash in my bathroom, but there's no way in heck I'm digging thru the other stuff that's in the trash can to get to it...icky! I'll just buy a new one.

irritating...and if it's not in the trash, I'll probably find it in a few months and be like....duh!

Something goes missing in this house at least daily. It's like someone is throwing stuff away just to make me think I've gone round the bend.

Daily..hourly..
I'm easily distracted, so I often stop & say "Where did I put that, I swear I just had it in my hands"..I've learned to start looking in the most ridiculous places first .

I found when I relax, and stop focusing so hard on it, and simply allow it to come to me, I remember. if I try to force it, I cant jump the fence of where it is. i can burn out a brain cell trying to remember, but if I lay down, relax, and simply allow the thought of it without the stress to wander free, it comes to me.

Wherever it is...it's either in my room, or the bathroom trash. (I'm not digging thru the trash, it's replaceable. There's broken lightbulbs in the trash)

If it is in the trash, it just drives me nuts that my brain went swiss cheese on me and it (my missing item, not my brain) ended up there.

already changed it...just have to get the energy up to carry it upstairs and put it in the trash in the garage...and now I dont think my missing stuff is in the trash. I felt around the outside of the trash bag. It's not in there.

so now, I just have to figure out where the heck I put it. I guess I'm good at hiding stuff, since I cant find this and I wasnt even trying to hide it.

All my light bulbs are quitting working now. My ceiling fan light had to be changed yesterday (where the broken lightbulb came from) but now my closet lightbulbs (both of them!) just blew, and I cant reach that fixture. I used to be able to climb a ladder to change the bulbs, but now with a numb left arm/hand, and a partially numb left leg, I'm scared to climb the ladder.

I guess I'll get my dad to help me with that later. Hope we dont break the bulbs when tossing these. (so glad that I dont use the CFL bulbs that have mercury in them!)
