Default Need to let it all out

Need to let it all out and since this seems to be the place where depression hangs out I came here!

Saturday morning my father was taken to the hospital with what we thought was a stroke. He has had one before and it is in his family history. But, luckily it was a reaction to some of the medications he is taking. It was a little touchy on Saturday but Sunday things were looking better and yesterday he came home. But - there always seems to be a but - three weeks ago he fell and broke his upper arm pretty bad, it had started to heal but Saturday with all the thrashing he was doing any healing that had taken place is now gone.

So Friday they will operate and put a rod down his arm to secure the bones in place. This is going to be a very tricky surgery and he has been advised against it due to his health and age but he is will to take the risk because of the pain and condition of the arm.

so please keep my father in your thoughts and prayers on Friday.

I have moved out of the apartment I was living in for several reasons - one being it has been attempted to be broken into twice now and Saturday they succeeded. I had moved my belongings out of the apartment and into a storage area but I haven't had time to go there and see if anything has been taken or not.

Life just keeps moving on how I am not sure but it does.

I was going to click "thanks", but I realized it wasn't enough. Praying for you, my rockin' friend, and for your dad.

Sure, Char. Prayers for your Father's safe surgery and speedy recovery. And an extra prayer for your peace of mind..

how scary! to not feel safe in your own home, and have your daddy not feeling well. I would drive over and give you a hug if I myself felt better.

Hugs and prayers for you. please find someplace safe to live. NO place is worth the price if you cant lay your head down at night, without feeling safe. Can you go stay with mom while dad is on the mend?

chin up. you are loved missy!

I am safe where I am living now - I didn't feel safe at the apartment but I don't think I would of been hurt either - it was just kids being stupid.

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers for Dad - they are greatly appreciated by all.

Char

I'm so sorry to hear all of this. I was just thinking of you last night and wondering how you were doing.

I'm glad you have a safe place to stay. It's not a good feeling to feel vulnerable.

Praying for your Dad and his surgery. And for you and your peace of mind. Seems like when it rains it pours, doesn't it? Wish I was closer and I'd come give you a real hug!
