Default How Are Ya??

How are you all feeling? Any fun plans for the weekend, or same ole, same ole?

I know when I was a younger chick/mommy/wife, I didn't have a moment to call my own, on the weekends, especially. I hit the road running on Friday night and didn't call it quits untill late Sunday, when I collapsed...LOL!

Then back to work on Mondays....it was like a vacation, to get back to work.. DD, who is the bread winner for her Family, agrees with me..

Let's see, last night, I went to bed early, got up at 9:30AM, in time for a grooming appointment for Pal. Then I mopped (wet swiffered) the bathroom and kitchen floors...what fun.. Then I did a little PC work and play, made some lunch for me and Pal and am now sitting on my buns, contemplating a nap..

Tomorrow, my chillans and grandchillans will bombard me, which I love and to which I look forward.

So, tell me, what are your plans this fine weekend. It doesn't matter if they are exciting or mundane (the usual crap), I'm interested..

Yes, I'm really bored..LOL.

I'm getting things done for my big garage sale on 12/5. I went to Office Depot and got some poster board, a big Sharpie and some pricing stickers. I've been in and out of the garage pricing and doing as much as I can until I get my tables and set things up.

It's pretty warm here today and it's going to be even warmer tomorrow. I'm ready for some consistently cool weather.

What's everybody else doin'?

Kind of a nice day with just me and my dog. Raked leaves and trimmed back or pulled up all the plants. Walked the dog for over an hour. Now in front of the fireplace warming up and then going to have a glass of champagne and do some "art" project. Hoping the champagne will inspire me.

Tomorrow, clean house and errands and maybe make soup for the weeks lunches. Probably have to do some work, boo. See if I can talk the bf into taking me to dinner - won't be hard, I just won't cook.

That's life in DC, exciting huh?

Hanging out with my 4 mo grandson today -- just the two of us! We made choccy chip cookies and now he needs a nap, but just wants to fight about it.

Tomorrow I teach a Sunday School lesson to the teens about temptation (fiery darts of the adversary), chastity and honesty.

Kitty, I need to have a yard sale in the worst way! But now our weather is cold and snowy. Guess it will have to wait until spring. Bleh.

Bets, I wanna move to D.C. so I don't hafta cook!!!

Sal, is Pal a dog? Imaginary friend maybe?

Sally your weekend sounds like more fun than mine but you have earned it!

I'm hanging out today, did some chores, actually got to see DH for more than 10 minutes. Tonight I'm headed up to the city for work. I'm going to be racking up the hours, with shift differential, over the next few days. My real weekend will be Wednesday, lol.

Tonight I have the house all to myself!! Right now I'm enjoying a bowl of popcorn and a glass of wine. DH is working, DD is at a sleepover. Tomorrow no plans - except to clean the hamster and guinea pig cages with DD. Yuck. I hope everyone has a relaxing day tomorrow!

Getting things ready in the house for my DD's visit. The weather
is beautiful today in the hight 60's.

After cleaning, gave Sage a bath and she gave me on.

After this I went and took my shower. The rest of the weekend
is just going to be relaxing. I don't want to wear myself out before they
get here. DD has a list of things that she wants to do, it will be fun, especially since she is doing the driving.

Wants me to go and look for an artifical christmas tree, so she can
decorate it before they go back to NJ. Christmas, I wonder what happened
to Thanksgiving, all the stores have been decorated for christmas since
the end of Sept. I hate this commercialized world anymore. Everyone is
really missing out on what all the holidays truely mean.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend. Enjoy your Grandkids Sal. as you
know how fast time goes by.

its hunting season, and that spells BUSY around here! The DH has been hunting locally, and has tagged on with various friends. Nothing here, so he is headed to another state with his family, cousins, uncles and so forth for the big yearly family hunt. This means that I invite g/fs to come stay at the house, and we turn it into a big chick event. My company starts arriving tomorrow, and that means...yep, laundry, dishes, shopping, and grooming cats for the arrival. I have stocked the house with yummy foods, we all have clean sheets, towels and jammies, we have clean pretty kitties to cuddle, and a house full of movies to pick from for the big screen TV. November is generally a ME ME ME and oh yea, ME month.

Cya in December.

Got a launch today. 8 hrs 55 minutes. Hunters chased all the deer into the neighborhood. Cool.
