It's not the worst symptom I've ever had, but it's getting really old. My stomach feels queasy, semi-nauseated virtually all the time. Almost like I vaguely remember morning sickness, like a couple of saltine crackers might ease it.
I've got so many potential causes: IBS, medications, anxiety, cookies...aargh! It's that feeling you have when you're too hungry, know what I mean? It's been going on for months, and as much as I hate it, I'm not sure I have the energy to try to figure it out or deal with it. Pass the saltines.

I use ginger extract for this.... I have a twisted GI tract that I've had from birth, and nausea is my daily companion.
Sometimes it goes away after a wave, but sometimes I use the ginger for it...it is quick, long lasting and cheap. Check your eating schedule, sometimes low blood sugar presents with nausea. I get that if I am awake around 4am sometimes. Take the ginger with alot of water, and not with a full stomach of food, as it can reflux and "burn" if done wrong.

I find eating lighter smaller meals helps me. If you eat a big meal, it makes your tummy work harder. Saltines are great, or ginger ale. Canada dry makes ginger ale with real ginger. I also find honey lemon tea with REAL ginger put in it helps. they also make ginger capsules for those that dont like real ginger, or dont want to prep it.
Acid reflux can cause what you are describing. Prilosec or pepcid may be able to help with that. I hate this stupid disease! I too have a floppy bowel, and a part of it keeps twisting and untwisting. Nausea, constipation, and pain can sometimes rule my days. Eventually I am gonna have to have this monster fixed. If I didnt have so many other things on my plate ahead of it, I may have fixed it already. hang in there.

Do you still have your gall bladder, B2Y?
I hope you feel better soon. At least you can eliminate morning sickness from all the potential causes!

I've been suffering from the same symptoms off and on for three years, with the past year getting much worse. My weight loss has been significant. If you haven't mentioned this sx to your neuro, you should. I finally did, and she sent me to a gastroenterologist who did a study and found I had gastroparesis; a condition where the stomach doesn't empty properly. It can cause nausea, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. While the jury is still out on whether or not MS caused the gastroparesis, it seems as if it could. Its a permanent condition, though meds can help.

Hmm, I DO still have my gallbladder.
Weight loss? Au contraire. I think I will mention it to my PCP. Doubt if it's life-threatening (though you never know) but it sure is annoying. It feels better when I eat a little something, so I eat a little something...and a little something...and a little something...
