Talking Silly Questions/Silly Answers - Fun Thread

Just for fun . . . MS has given me the opportunity to think too much. LOL j/k But I do find my self questioning, in a wonderment sort of way, all sorts of things. Today, someone posed a question to me and I just cracked up. So I thought it would be fun to have a thread full of silly questions and silly answers. We all have so much going on and can certainly use the stress relieve of laughing.

My question, as my friend asked today,:

In the song the "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" was the bikini yellow with white polka dots or white with yellow polka dots? Or maybe it was yellow and black? Or yellow and blue? What was it?

Well... if the polka dots were yellow, I would guess yellow on white.

Well, that is what I always thought. But then we were discussing polka dots in general. I made DD18 and red polka dot dress for her sweet 16. It was red with white dots. So would you called that a white polka dot dress?

I remember the album cover showed a picture of a white bikini with yellow polka dots.

Today the want ads in our paper listed a size 12 black ladies coat for sale. Why did the Black lady want to sell her coat and what color is it?

sorry, Trish ...

but, when that song came out ... polka dots was 'common' on most fabric ... and they were white dots on colored fabric ... must of been an easy application to print or something ...

my dad was known for his red polka dot hat .. he wore it everywhere .. and I have a few pix to prove it!! and whenever I see one - I think of my dad! (yes, red fabric WITH white dots) ...

I had DD try on a dress like that for her prom. She came out and stated firmly, "Mom, I am NOT Minnie Mouse."

I had that 45...about the polka dot bikini...I always pictured the bikini as purple with yellow polka dots.
Why are they polka dots? Why not fox trot dots? Or Waltz dots?

And why are only white elephants sold at a white elephant sale? Are there really white elephants?

I just read the label on the "stool softener" my Doctor prescribed.

"Gentle and predictable; results within 12 to 72 hours".

I predict I will have a BM in 12 to 72 hours!!
