Default AARP Nightmares
If you want to have nightmares, read through the ads in the back of the AARP publications. Is this where my kids will be shopping for my Christmas presents soon? And they wonder why people don't want to get old.

DD (17) loves the catalogs I get - they push wheelchair and incontinence products on one page, sex toys and stuff on next!!! To her, a very mixed message.

AARP sends me invitations to join (goes right in the trash - I don't feel old!! Is this denial?) and I get SEVERAL catalogs like that!! You just wait! You'll be old and get them one day. Maybe it's the travel wheelchair and WC cushion I once ordered making me such a great OLD person name for catalogs to sell. But I look good!! (for an OLD person with MS).

lol!!!! I just turned 50 last month but so far not a peep from AARP, maybe they've seen my picture and thought that I couldn't possibly be 50
