Default Take that MS!!

OK so tomorrow is the big day... first Ty infusion... of course I cannot fall asleep. Been thinking about cutting my hair off and I finally did it! It's a little shorter than I wanted, but it'll grow in a couple of weeks...if the Ty doesn't make it fall out.

I like the haircut! Looks good!

I just chopped off about four inches of my hair on friday (well, the guy who's been cutting my hair since I was 10 did it) and now it's the shortest it's ever been since he started cutting my hair about 30something years ago. (I used to have hair down to my butt) Now it's just above the shoulders, and on the sides where he layered it a bit, it's just to the bottom of my ears. Took me a half hour to dry it today, rather than the hour and a half it used to.

Yay for shorter hair!

Surprising that I used to say I'd never cut my hair short, but when the MS started screwing around with me, my long hair was pretty much the first thing I gave up. I've been gradually cutting it for the past year, trying to slowly get used to ever shortening hair. It's nice, I didnt have hair in my eyes or face today in the strong winds we were having today.

Hopefully the shorter hair means a cheaper bill when I get my hair colored.

very nice. it's odd but you don't look how I imagined you would. !!

i too cut my hair drastically when the spider crawl sensation got too much on my neck. Big mistake. Can't wait for it to grow...

I like the haircut and it looks very nice. I too prefer shorter hair but since mine is curly, having it longer is easier because then I can just pull it back. I'm actually growing mine back out after cutting it above my shoulders. It's now past my shoulders. Good luck on your TY today.

Hope Ty really does good for you. Love the cut. My hair is layered and above shoulders but let 12 year old (then) DD do own thick longish hair. Looked fine, but finally felt it and found rat's nest of snarls under outer hair she just couldn't handle (nor could I with MS and 1 hand). Took a day off from school for her as a hair emergency day (but called her in sick, about only day she took that year), found gentle understanding stylist at my salon who got it out without cutting. Learned my lesson, kept an eye on her hair closely until she was older and really able to handle it. Her hair is thick! I can handle my own hair with 1 hand. Very liberating.

Legz you look great! Good luck with the ty.

Kicker, with my unnaturally curly hair, even before i was sick I could barely handle it with 2 hands, lol - 1, no way.

Very nice!

Does Ty make your hair fall out?

I bet it will all go super smooth, and you will be napping before you know it.

Very cute, Legzz!!!

I just had 5 inches cut off mine. I am not too crazy about it. It is now a couple of inches or so below my shoulders. You are truly brave.
