Default It's here! I have waited all year!

The sore throat I woke up with yesterday... Slowly I felt it taking over last night. But I refused! I drank some theraflu and went to bed. And this morning, wouldn't you know...

Stuffy, achey, fever, sore throat, need more than a bottle of nyquil kind of sick.

And it's here! The dreaded visitor who shows up at least once a year, but most times twice. Nothing like adding a case of strep throat to the mix! Doc called in an antibiotic already. Dropping DD off at school then heading to pick it up...then I think I am going to spend the rest of the day in bed.

That sucks!

I'm still fighting the cough I've had for several days. It was a horrible battle last night. I didnt fall asleep till about 7am, and I just woke up now at 10am, because I'm going to the doctor at 1130.

and to make my cold and cough even more unpleasant, we're having a blizzard outside right now and it's really really cold and there's tons of snow on the ground...I get to drive in that crap to get to the doctor's office.

I'm just glad I've got my Rav4 4x4.

I just wish I wasnt sick with this cough, driving in what looks to be about 6 inches of snow would be more fun if I wasnt trying to cough up my spleen.

We're supposed to get another 8 to 10 inches before tomorrow night. Yuck.

Oh, and the 40mph winds havent started yet. (I hope they hold off till I get back from the doctor)

Oh NO!!

We have been hit hard in this area and happens every year at this time. Fortunately none of us have had it and Mom and I are trying to stay well so we can take care of DH when he comes home from the hospital.
