Default Amazon shipping irritation

I ordered some stuff one wednesday. Some stuff for my nieces in NY State, and some books that are Xmas presents for my dad here at home.

I ordered the stuff for my nieces about two hours before I ordered the books for my dad. I got a shipping confirmation for my dad's stuff the night I ordered it...like within two or three hours!

Still havent gotten a shipping confirmation for the stuff I got my nieces. Paid for the 2day shipping for that too. (of course, that's two day shipping from when it's shipped...not that it'll be shipped immediately and be there in two days. It's when Amazon gets around to it.)

So, I'm sitting here, watching for my dad's stuff, since the tracking info says it's out and on the truck and will be here at some point today. (I did regular shipping for his stuff...not two day delivery...weird that it's here first, and within two days)

Wish they'd hurry up with the stuff for my nieces...their presents are more important that my dad's. They need to be able to open this stuff on Xmas day...not on Epiphany. (anyone else here ever get presents on Epiphany?)
