I got addicted to Face book, specifically Egg buddies, then I lost my password, my computer got a very bad virus and I had to wait until last weekend when my son in law could come up and fix it - free help- then I had problems with re registering. But the administrators fixed me up and here I am!!!!! I had to completely shut my computer down for a whole week until my free help could get here but up until that I was reading in here.

Welcome back. We've lost a few to facebook, but, like you, the true friends will come back home.

Glad to see you...frankly, even though I go on Facebook daily, I don't get why it's so popular. I probably don't know how to use it...

I love Facebook. I havefound old school friends whom I haven't talked to in over 30 years. It's alot of fun but neurotalk is like my comfy fluffy blanket. I just cuddle up with it relax and be myself

But Neuro talk doesn't offer Egg buddies. There are a couple of forums on FB about MS but they aren't active at all.

What are egg buddies? Do you hafta hatch em? I've never don Fae book, but I did set up a My Space page - just so I could post videos for dh while he's out of town. That was going pretty well then he developed some kind of security issue and his computer is blocking the video - I need to figure out how to help him fix that.

I've done My Space but after letter from Lesbian calling me Darlin and letter from guy who says he's married but dates, well I never went back.
It did open up communication with me and kids about the dangers of the Internet. DD's very pretty friend was a model in several Teen based "Deviant Art" page and got immediate positive remarks about her. Not so much did DD, the photographer of the pictures get. Her enthusiasm waned when I said I hoped they weren't from unseen naked, fat, old men. On You Tube, love video "Add Me". DD taught me how to push ignore button to requests for friendships from two unknown men I got!! Be careful out there people!! DD's Internet savvy makes me feel better about her strengths. I was using an alias but those in know could find me.

I really think Facebook is more private than My Space. I haven't really looked into My Space much, though. I do both FB and NT. I've caught up with old friends and also friends from here on FB and I like the games, but I come here for MS stuff and Daily Insights.

My DD does FB. She keeps in touch with all her HS and some college friends. She can also track what her DD is up to...LOL.
I opened an acct there ages ago, but haven't received many requests from fam and friends....just strangers....so, don't use it. I like the people here better and I get all the games I want at Pogo.

I love FB, but with all other addictive things, you need to set a reminder for yourself. its so easy to pass hours while you play egg buddies, or farmville, or cafe whatever. tons of fun! I used to set an egg timer for my son. After one hour, he had to leave the computer, and go do something else. He wasnt able to set limits for himself.
I did find that I picked up several virus' from FB,and used Malwarebytes.com to get a free virus removal that is fast and easy. I used their free version and it takes less than 10 minutes to scan your whole system. It has found things that many paid programs missed. if you are gonna play in those places, you need a good protection in place. nice to have you back.
