Default Beach snow

Got just over 8" yesterday of perfect snow. Then we got sleet which tamped it down to under 8" and put a layer of ice down. Woke up this AM and we had 2" additional. Now we have almost 10" of snow, but with a hidden layer of ice.

I won't be coming out of the house until MArch. I ache to play in it - alas, my legs & balance do not allow that any longer.

Sure looks pretty and a rare sight at the beach! Now if this !@#$% camera would work...

My SSON called last night to tell me they just got 15 inches of snow in Charlotte, NC, and it was still snowing.

He loves it. I said, good, keep it..

We had 8.5 inches. I love my backyard. No one has stepped in it now for two days and it is still smooth and untouched.

I have family in Asheville NC and they have about 15 inches! This is a city that shuts down for a dusting. They simply dont have the equipment to deal with snow. They are gonna keep many places closed while they clear their way out.

tell me about it! We only have a few plows (and we mainly use them to push the sand back onto the beach LOL)

A dusting will shut this place down all day. I wonder how long schoold, stores etc will be closed for this?

All in all, kind of fun for here. I imagine it is like getting hot weather in a place known for cold. Old man winter had paid us a visit and apparently decided to stay a bit...
