Meet Mack Mack!
It was a looooong trip in the snow, we even stopped to meet the firemen while my new mommy was picking me up a crate.... and I am sooooo sleepy! Now if we couls just him to stop peeing on the floor and to STOP trying to nurse Bo, then we will be cool. Poor Bo!

Awww! how cute!
if he pees on the floor, mop it up with a paper towel, and then, before you throw out the towel, take it outside and leave it in the area you want him to pee in. Take him out immediatly to the newly created area each time you catch him peeing. You may need to take him out once an hour to get him in a routine. Take him to the spot that now smells like HIS pee. He will get his lil sniffer going, and realise this is the potty. Getting him on a routine will help. At least every two hours, he needs to visit his new OUTside potty till he learns it. At night pull his water dish, and it will limit how much he needs to pee at night till after he is trained. I used to pull my puppy dish of water at 10 and no more till 8 the next morn. I made sure she got to drink her fill before I pulled the dish. Then took her outside. Having the area that smells like her pee really helped. Esp when everything is snow covered and they cant find the ground to sniff. GL, very very cute baby!

He is a smart cookie too! Been here less than 24 hours and has figured out that poop goes outside... and we have gone tinkle a few times out there too. Still working on that one but he will catch on. Bo has somewhat adjusted. she is still not to thrilled with being a big sis but she does lay down close to him. He is still not allowed to touch her...
So far only 2 accidents inside today, so we are off to a great start. He is a cute little booger. I don't think he will be a lapdog much longer. The last litter all weighed over 50 lbs by the timethey were 6 months old.

He is so cute. Good luck with all the house training. Be persistent
it will work. I remember when I was training Sage, when I woke up at night to go and tinkle for myself, I would take her outside, she would go and it seemed after awhile she slept longer in the morning, and we were both happy. Jappy |
