She said some folks wont hold highlights, perms or other chemicals. It really was worth a try. I am a long standing customer of the salon, and the owner tries really hard to make everyone happy. Since she owns the place, and doesnt have to report anywhere, she can do that. It really wasnt her fault, it is just one of those things, but i did accept the refund anyway.

The last time I got a perm, they heard I have MS and used a very heavy duty chemical and BURNED my hair! I was ticked off! I warned the girl this time, I was willing to try a perm, but not one of those fry the hair off your head things.

They were willing to RE perm it, but it came with the warnings of over processing, and warnings about frying my hair with the harsh chemicals that would be required to make it stick. I said no thanks! she said "whew! i was worried you wanted to try it"

Mom and pop style shops go out of their way to make you want to come back. Super cuts or other corporate style places wouldnt have gone that far. it would have been too bad, so sad, NEXT!
