Anybody (else) not bother to read a thread that you WANTED to read, that interested you, because you saw that there were already several or lots of posts and you just couldn't deal with it?
When I'm having a less good day, I'll see a thread title and think, "ooh, interesting!" but then I'll see that it has 12 or 24 or 40-odd posts already, and I'll think, "maybe later". I also tend to skip really long posts (unless I'm really into the thread or the subject) Not always, but on "those" days. I know I miss a lot of good stuff, and sometimes I just never catch up.

me too. Although guilty of being verbose, I skip posts that say too much or do not use many paragraphs. Sometimes I just read the original post and that's it.

I never even look at the number of posts in a thread... and I concentrate real hard when the posts are long, as there's usually some important info in it...afterwards my brain hurts from all the work

This board doesn't seem to be too long winded but on the nurses board I visit they can drone on and on and I definitely skip the extra long ones!
Sometimes I'll skip one that has a lot of replies because what I would have added was already said and that is one reason I love the "thanks" key option here.

I try to read most of the original post in threads on this forum and the MS one, but honestly I am glad there is a thanks button . I don't always go back to that thread and read all the replies. Composing replies is my biggest challenge because of the time it takes to get my thoughts together.

There's only so many hours in a day, lol. I hate to think I miss something important, but I need my sleep too.
