Default Wow I finished my paperwork....

Ha ha they will not like a lot of my responses I am sure. I was told to include the broken back imparements... which means EVERYTHING I cannot do. Then there was the where does it hurt questionaire... duh, everywhere, allow me to list every ache and pain i get on a regular basis... 3 pages later....

On the list of things I could do before my illness or injury... I did include "urinate without a catheter", and on the how is your attention span question I simply answered "it has taken me 3 days to complete this packet".

These questions are just down right ignorant considering I have filled out these same questions 3 times now, and everything I have mentioned was documented by my doctors and they have every paper from every doctor.

My Mri's have been moved all around now because the hospital forgot to get authorization in advance from medicaid, so I have to wait for next week to do the neuro pics, still have the ortho pics tomorrow.

Had to visit the uro today, that was fun.... NOT. But it is over and now I can somewhat relax. Hoping the brace guy will call me tomorrow and tell me the stupid insurance finally approved the brace. I will not hold my breath, but I will hope.

Thanks you guys for all the encouragement. It has been a looooong week and it is only tuesday afternoon.

Perfect!!!! It sounds like you did a good job doing that. My 1st application was somewhat easier than my 2nd one. The 2nd was a few flares later and some cognitive issues. I botched the paperwork up so bad but the lawyer said to just send it anyway. I was approved a month later. LOL

I honestly put that the texture of clothes bothers me so much I need to tear my clothes off. But it was true - still is. I have to wear smooth textured clothes and shoes (other than flip flops) bother the heck out of me sometimes.

I am hoping you answers are your magic ticket. I think that paperwork is more geared towards injuries and/or mental illness. The questions, to me, didn't seem to apply towards a chronic illness.

I love that you included urinating without the catheter. That is too funny. I would love to see the look on the reviewers face when they read that.

Wishing you the best of luck! Let us know as soon as you hear anything.

Well it was really confusing to fill out the paperwork based on today verses two weeks ago. I mean, the back thing has made doing most things impossible; but I expect the back to heal, even if i have to have surgery. I don't expect to be unable to load the dishwasher or shave my legs forever. At least I hope.

Most of my answers started with "before I broke my back, I was able to do this task... however"

ugh! I dunno.
