Default NASA news flash!

As of this morning's mission control center daily operations meeting, the UPA is now called the WPA!

The "Urine Processing Assembly" is now called the "Water Processing Assembly".

And it's also still not working right...

We got some firsts coming up. There's currently 3 people on the space station. 3 more are going up on a Russian Soyuz launching tomorrow and docking Sunday. Shuttle launches Monday morning and docks Wednesday, so we'll have 13 astronauts there.

4 are women - a first

2 of the 13 are Japanese - also a first

Tom

Tom, I think I also heard that Toyota is working with NASA to determine what the problem with their cars could be. Is that true?

Tom, it must be exciting to be so close to such leading edge technology. I know it is easy to giggle about a urine processing system, but let’s face it. It is work like this that is going to allow the human race outlive our planet. I have to admit to being a bit in awe.

The Transportation Secretary enlisted NASA's help. Given the team's expertise in electromagnetics, it wouldn't surprise me at all the these sudden acceleration incidents are somehow related to cell phone use...
