Default Fostering kittens

I am fostering a momkitty and her litter of five kittens for the Connecticut Humane Society. The foster momcat, Linda, is weaning the five kittens. All morning she has been sitting on a windowsill. Every time a kitten comes up onto the sill, she takes them by the scruff of the neck, and drops them over the edge and on to the floor. They seem to be getting the message. What a smart mommy!

Bless you for doing this.

If I didn't already have two cats myself that might be something I'd enjoy doing. Only problem is.....I wouldn't want to give them up! I'd end up with a house full!

This is true but I think they call it child abuse when you drop your kids from the window ledge.. LOL

Hey Sal, you think if I grabbed my kids by the neck and dropped them to the floor they'd quit askin' me for stuff? It's worth a try, huh?

If I tried to do this, I'd end up with six more cats under my roof, lol.

It's nice that you're doing this though. My sister fosters moms and kittens all the time. I adopted Daisy from her (the black kitten in my signature picture.)

That's wonderful! My daughter used to volunteer at an animal rescue and took a couple kittens home to foster. That's why I'm here with 4 cats . I swear animals see an otherwise invisible "Sucker" stamped across my forehead..

Thank you so much for doing this and sharing that super cute story with us!

I have a former feral Mama cat that has cared for two sets of kittens for me and she practiced tough love also. One had long hair and she felt he needed proper washing. He had other ideas so she always ended up having to pin him down and lick away while he was kicking at her and squirming, lol.
