No seriously! Doc put me on provigil for the fatigue a while back, and within 2 hours I was dead asleep on the couch and has lost all track of time.
She put me back on it yesterday. Yesterday I napped. Today I went to phys therapy, came home, took the prov. and 2 hours later, I was making my way back to bed for a nap. I think my brain is just backwards!

So much for it waking you up. Now what meds cause most to sleep, you can try that and see if it wakes you up!!

Me Too!!! Provigil made me tireder!!. A Friend's wife took it (not for MS stuff), said she felt wired, but tired. My PCP said "Well yeah, you are a little hyper. Like Ritalin for Hyper kids (another stimulant), it has an adverse effect (Opposite) on you." I take Amantadine, go from dead to half dead.

me too! If med is supposed to make you sleepy, I am wide awake! if its supposed to keep you awake, I am napping in the corner. I have always been that way.

I'm backwards when it comes to benedryl. Most people say it knocks them out - I'm hyper if I take it.
Sorry to hear the anti-fatigue med isn't working.

There are some people that have the opposite effect from stimulants, me included. Provigil, ADD meds, caffiene, all make me tired.
In my case it's believed I have this reaction to stimulants because I DO have ADD.

I tried Amantadine, don't like it. It made me wired and very shakey. At 100mg it didn't touch the fatigue, at 200mg it helped the fatigue only marginally but increased the shaking and wired feeling.
Needless to say I didn't stay on Amantadine very long
