Is it snowing where you are?!! Its about 40 degrees and raining here..it
feels cold in my bones. I had a friend tell me they just came from N. Vermont
and it was snowing.

I hope you are all staying warm....Id just like it to be 68 and sunny ya know?

I always cosidered Ohio as a part of the NE and, although it isn't snowing, the temp here has fallen back into the 40s/50s.

I may have to get a new thermostat. I'm waring this one out by switching it back and forth between cool and heat!!

In my location in Northern Illinois it's currently 54 degrees according to my Droid. At least it's sunny here though.

I was driving around the Stratton, Bromley, Magic ski areas in southern Vt this morning and there was snow in the air. There was still some snow on the ski trails and on a couple of back roads there was still some left over snow piles.

It's amazing the difference between the banana belt of the Connecticut river valley (leaves coming out) and the hills and mountains just a few miles west. (snow)

Yesterday we had 3-4 inches. This morning it was snowing, but not accumulating. We see cars going by with snow on the roof, though. It's 40 now, rainy.

Sally, When I lived in Ohio, we always considered NE Ohio to be part of the Northeast and the rest of Ohio to be MW or S. I have always preferred saying that I am from the NE Ihad the ac on last night and the heat this morning.

It was actually ten degrees warmer north of me at the Canadian border today! I woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground and ice pellets spitting from the sky. Drove north to get the DSS and it was around 50 and sunny! Drove back and it was like driving into a freezer! The first thing we did when we got home was restart the woodstove. We'd let it go out a few weeks ago for the first time since last fall, hoping we were done with heating, but Noooooo...
