We tried to figure out how Erin would be celebrating her birthday this year.

I tried to celebrate with her but she is too far away.

Nope, no new iMac... (we did go look at them yesterday tho)

I got my iMac fixed. (it was the memory...one of the memory chips fried itself)

Took the computer to the Apple Store...the guy at the Genius Bar went thru the whole computer and fixed it up for me, diagnosed the dead memory and told me what memory to buy, but they couldnt install the new memory (this ticks me off about the Apple Store. They dont sell the memory for my computer there anymore, and they wont install it if I bring it in)

Luckily, my brother-in-law knows how to install memory. I got the new memory and he put it in. Then he updated my computer with Snow Leopard and I sat around for a few hours last night downloading updates and knitting.

I still dont know what I'm getting for my birthday. I priced the knitting needle sets that I want, and to get them all it would be close to $300. I dont know if I want to spend that kind of money on knitting needles. (well, I do, but I dont know if I want to do it all at once tho. Might order the straight needles and ask for the other sets for Xmas)

I'm so tired right now from all the MS junk that's been screwing around with me the past month or two, I'm just going to sleep all day on my birthday tomorrow. I'm putting a note on my door saying to not disturb me, and then I'm locking the door and will be building a nest in my bed. Going to watch Stargate Atlantis dvds and knitting or crocheting when I'm not sleeping.

Probably wont get to do that tomorrow (have physical therapy at 4, so does my mom) but maybe I'll sleep really late.

Good thing about my birthday...it's an excuse to eat cake! (that reminds me...I better go get one. Gotta have cake!)

I made a boo-boo. I thought I was looking at today's birthdays when I checked the calendar but I was looking at Monday's. Oh well, chances are I would have forgotten it tomorrow so I guess it's all good! Hope you have a happy birthday, Erin!
