Default Facebook

I called DD, the other day to tell her how bored I am with life now and how I feel left out of things. She said one word...Facebook!!

She talked me into becoming a Facebooker. Well, at least as far as Family is concerned. I love it! I am finally feeling like a part of the family again. I know what's going on in their lives. I see all their pictures, when things happen.

As far as friends, other than Family, I don't know yet? I still like my privacy and most of my friends are right here at NT, now. So for now, I'm going to stick with family and their friends, only. I am not going to desert you for FB, as some have..

I now recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in touch with Family and close, yet distant friends.

Question?? I may want to play some of the games. DD said she is addicted to a few. I just don't get them?? Do any of you FBers, play their games? What do you like and can you play alone or do you always need others to play with? I tried Farmland, but I just don't get the fun in it?? Tell me what I'm missing???

Try Bouncing Balls... it is easy, and somewhat addicting.

You can do a game in a few minutes, or do one or two here or there,
no special rules. I use it as a reflex builder..I can tell in a few minutes if the day is going to go well or not. I think it actually builds some skills, hand eye things. Just the mouse and left click.

Superficially the game is "easy"... but built into it are tricks you discover as you go along. 1) hitting things by bouncing off the walls, 2) and each level seems to have a built in trick you need to master before moving to the next.

I am currently "stuck" at level 7. At the rate it took me to get THERE, I'll probably be stuck there forever! LOL

I think this game allows your right brain some exercise and the result for me at least is less anxiety and tension, or frustration if I am running into problems at home, etc. I find it quite therapeutic is a strange way.

I have becme addicted to facebook scrabble. Actually, it's pretty much the only reason I sign into facebook lately. The only thing I don't lik about it is you have to wait for the next person to move and before you know it you are playing 25 different scrabble games at one time.

I play Family Feud, Bejeweled, and other word games at Mind jolt. They are all available through your applications. Scores of your friends who are also playing the same games are posted so you can compete that way. I have not deserted Neurotalk either

I am also totally addicted to Facebook. My daughter introduced me to it. I am friends with so many family members and exchange pictures. I tell my Mom something about somebody and she asks how I know. I just say Facebook. My sister is actually jealous that I know so many details of her daughter and grandsons life that she doesn't know yet. i can see my nephews new fiance' and no one else knows what she looks like. I chat for hours on end with some one in little village in England that I never knew before we became very close competitors in my favorite game Egg buddies. It is so easy to find my friends. Well as you can tell i love it.

once your friends list grows (I hope you include me!) you will find so many posts about farmville, and cafeworld, and other games that bounce around. If you follow the post over to the right side, you will see an X. Click the X and it will give you two choices. 1. hide the person who sent the post (you will never see anything they write again, unless you go change it back) or 2. Hide the game they are playing.

I hide MANY games that folks are playing. From My Empire to My Hotel, to Soriety sisters, and hugs, and astrology. You will find that button to be your best friend. This way you can stay in touch with your friends, and not be overwhelmed by their entertainments.

Im glad you joined us!

Oh my, Sally! I am a facebook addict! I only let friends see my posts, not friends of friends, even.

I live 1200 miles from where I grew up, so facebook is a great way to keep in touch, or re-connect with HS and college friends, and with far-away relatives.

Regarding games, I play Family Feud and Bejeweled Blitz alot.

Legz -- I used to play Scrabble some, but haven't thought about it for awhile. Might have to try it again.
