My Mom is 85, ready to meet her Lord. She has a pacemaker and when she went to have it checked yesterday found out that at the most it has about 2 months of battery life left in it. When it goes dead it isn't the end of her, it just means that whatever problem Mom was having that she needed the pacemaker will return. And that was a real slow heart beat which made her very dizzy and fainty.
So now we are looking at replacing it. She is torn between the fact that she is ready to die but yet she has a lot more she wants to see and do before she does! Since she gets things messed up sometimes I am going to call the cardiologist office tomorrow to see what she said plus get some of my own questions answered. |

I was just going to suggest that YOU or someone who has a good hold on what the MD says to call. My mom messes it all up. She comes back and you would think from what she said that her eye needs to be removed. You call the MD and find out that she needs drops for 5 days, the MD said without the drops it would FEEL like she would want to scratch her eye out.
