I remember all the fuss about "Y2K"

Everything had that written on it. Shirts, dolls, poster, etc. Big scary day.:cool:

Then I said, 01, 02, or I said I bought a 04 car. When 09 came and went it became 20-10. It sounds so futuristic to me.:) It also helps me remember to write my checks that way so I wouldn't forget to change the year.

Some new checks have 20__. imprinted on them. They will last my lifetime that's for sure. :D

I say "Two Thousand Ten". Why? I don't know..... I never said "One Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Nine" for 1999 ?!?!?

I'll be thinking about that a lot now. :confused:

We'll probably all shorten it to twenty-ten after we have to say it a 100 million times .:D
