Default 2010 or 2010

I think this has been a thread before, but don't remember, so I am doing it again.

Do you say it "Two-thousand and Ten"

Or

"Twenty-Ten"?

And next year "Two thousand eleven" or "Twenty eleven"?

Sometimes I say, "Oh-ten" and get a secret chuckle out of how many people don't even notice it.

This year is '10' and next is '11'. Since for me they are the first there is no confusion.

last year was "o nine"

This year I usually say "o ten" for the same reason as Cindy unless it's a serious discussion then I just say "10".

More commonly I refer to "F Y 10", "F Y 11", etc., since I work to a different fiscal year than the calendar year.

Hahahaha....I don't use fiscal year anymore, so if I said F Y 10 or F Y 11, whoever I was talking to would be highly insulted. Probably even hit me hard...Think I'll stick with 20-10.

"Twenty-ten" is easier to say. I'm tending to favor it but sometimes I've said "Two thousand ten."

Some sounds are hard for me to come out with. Saying "thousand" isn't easy, IMO.
