Another Sunday- in another week- in another month- in another year- in another decade- in another century- in another era- in another galaxy....and I'm still here.....WHY??
I know, I know, my Kids and Grands still need me here and they love me. I guess I'm just having a, Woe Is Me, moment. I say moment, because I don't linger or wallow in it. I come here and cheer up right away and by the time I finish typing it, I'm over it..

Sounds like I passed the "torch" that I was lugging around last week.

If I'm going to get down and mopey on any particular day of the week it's Sunday. Don't know why....but I've always been like this. And now, it seems to be magnified.
I'm always so glad when Monday arrives. I have no idea why. Each day of the week should be the same to me. I mean, I don't do anything different. Sunday just seems different. I always watch my church programs and they always have a positive message. I guess Sunday just seems like a "family" day and, for the most part, I don't have that much family around anymore. And the family I do have around me is busy with their own lives. I don't mean that in a bad way.....just a statement. Just a fact. So, Sal, you're not alone. And now that I'm done with this post......I feel better already!

See, sometimes you have to just tell it to people who truly understand and don't think you're looking for sympathy.
Thanks My Friends..

I am very new to NT and I stumbled in here looking for a friendly face not realizing this is a chat group for MS folks. I am a Parkie myself but have not found the PD as friendly or laidback group -maybe too quick to judge. Are we even allowed to co-mingle? Sundays are Sundays - they do have a different feel to them. The night to take out the garbage and recycling bins for me. LOL very big night.
So, tell me if I am in the wrong place - you all seem so friendly and caring and have lots of friends. Maybe I could just pretend I have MS instead of PD - we all hope for a cure or at least the magic pill/treatment. tulip girl ( I love flowers) |

I always get the "blahs" on Sunday evening. I think it's like you guys said it is a family oriented day and we have the week ahead to deal with. After I get through Monday morning, I'm usually ready to go for the rest of the week. Tonight was fun - I had quite a few trick or treaters. It was fun to see the kiddos dressed up even if they all didn't say "Thank You". What happened to Trick or Treater etiquette? I hope everyone is well!
