Shocked Gift Cards!

I just went online with the bright idea of ordering my daughter a gift card at the Melting Pot for her birthday. I chose an amount, went to check out, and discovered that they would be sending it UPS , and charging me $7.43 to send it! Really???? I've never paid a shipping charge for a gift card. Forget it.

I prefer cash in a card! And if you really want to save money you can leave the card out and just give me cash!

Haha, BOTH of my kids have subtly informed me that I could skip subsidizing Hallmark and just give them the $5, or however much a card is these days.

You can send them the money on PayPal and it goes directly to their email name. This way they can use that PayPal money on any store in any internet corner without ever exposing their real accounts, or information. If I have to give money long distance that is how I do it. You can use your credit card to do it, or you can pull it from a checking account. Either way, its convienent.

A friend who bought my old laptop didnt have the cash, but put it on her credit card with paypal and the whole amount landed in my account. didnt cost her or me a thing to do it.
