Default Today is is 16 years.

Today marks the 16th anniversary of my first attack with MS. I woke up with a horrible headache. I tried to get out of bed and my legs gave out. Naturally I thought I slept wrong. I gave it about 1/2 hour and nothing. Laura then helped me get to the couch and I cried and prayed something was not as bad as it seamed. About 4 hours later we called 911 and I was taken to the hospital.

Needless to say, that particular prayer was not answered. 24 hours in the hospital and I was getting a bit better. I rented a wheelchair for the week it took to get back to normal. This started my several months of neurologist visits and tests. They thought I had limb-gerdle Muscular Dystrophy in January and then changed the diagnosis to MS on April 9th 1995.

The ironic thing is today I woke up with the same feeling. I am having a horrible day today but DID make it to church. The rest of the day is going to be in my recliner playing on my iPhone and Mac.

I am still thankful for all I do have, most of all my faith in my Savior and my family. I couldn't get by without them.

Hugs to you. So glad you were able to make it to church, and that you have the Lord for comfort.
