Comedian Leslie Nielson has died at age 84. Very sad, he "made" the movie series Airplane. I will miss him.

I'm getting ready to sit down and watch several episodes of Due South that Leslie Nielsen was in back in the mid 90s. He played a Mountie in that show, and was so hilarious in his scenes. I just have to go and watch those episodes. I want to hear his "11th Of March" speech. (it's on YouTube)
and I have to go rent Airplane! tomorrow. Maybe I'll buy a copy of the movie for my dad as a Christmas present. I was a big fan of old western tv shows. (watched in reruns. I was born too late to see them when they originally aired) I liked the shows and movies that Leslie Nielsen played the bad guy in too. Which he did pretty much exclusively until they cast him in Airplane! and Hollywood realized that he was freaking hilarious. Airplane! is probably going to always be one of my most favorite comedy movies.
