Default Is It Snowing Where You Live?

Hello Everyone? I'm seeing some record breaking weather already for this time of year! FL had a solid freeze just a couple of days ago. Here in Stafford Va, we just had our first stick to the grassy areas snow fall at 6:00a.m. on Dec. 13, 2010. I live in what is considered the south of VA. We very rarely get snow, except for last year. 3ft. in late January when my roommate decided to go to FL to buy a new car and left me home w/10 horses and 3ft. of snow. How much snow do you have and is it early for the season? Hugs and Happy Holidays to all, WTR Nymph

I'm in the UK and 2 weeks ago we got 9 inches of snow! We very rarely get any and when we do, it is only normally a few inches deep. This is the worse we have had it for years.

More snow is expected this week ... i'm hoping it isn't too bad as my boyfriend's taking me to a concert on Saturday! The roads here are still really icy so whenever we want to get anywhere it's a nightmare as really slippy and i'm already unstable on my feet!

I hope the snow settles down for you! Stay warm!

@ ali, we love to see you here!

its all slush and icy mush where I am now. it started out as snow and then turned to rainy, sleety messy stuff. You would think in NH I would be knee deep in it by now.

Yeah, you could say that..LOL
We had 18 inches of snow on Saturday, and lots of wind to go with it (yuk). Caused the roof of the Metrodome in Minneapolis to collapse. Yet another sign the Vikings should concentrate on next season and kick this one to the curb .
The sun is shining today, but still a bit chilly. 1 above with a windchill of 12 below. Not as bad as they forecast ~ I'll take it!
Don't know if this storm in moving your way, but I sure hope it loses some of its punch.

Here in Georgia we're having flurries. Nothing sticking to the ground where I live but just a few miles north of me they got a few inches. Schools are closed in most of the northern counties. I'm sure the grocery stores have bare bread and milk shelves! The snow is supposedly over here today but cold and wind will remain for the week. We won't get above freezing till Wednesday....and then it'll still be a high in the 30's! Definitely not the kind of weather Georgia is used to.....and it's technically not even Winter yet!

Unfortunately it snowed and is freezing. Yesterday was near blizzard conditions. If you saw any of the Bears & Pats game yesterday, that was the weather. I didn't leave the house. I just cranked up the heat and turned on the tea kettle.

i don't mean to complain as i live in FL and don't have to deal with snow.
my friends who live in denver said it was warmer there than here.

winds are 20-30 MPH. the temps are in the 40's. at nite it's in the 20's.
i'm so glad i took my down coat from CO to FL.

Here in Scottsdale we are having a heat wave considering it is December.

High's in the high 70's and lower 80's.

Not gloating, I would love to have a bit of cool weather.

We haven't had any record snows here, but it keeps snowing. Right now there is about 3 inches acumulated snow on the ground. a sultry 18 degrees and the sun is out.

Kelly, I was just on the weather channel and Atlanta is the talk of the town with it's "Southern Chill"...wind chills in the teens.

Snuggle up in your blankies Kiddles!..

I do remember having snow in Jacksonville, so be careful Judy! We were watching it one winter to make sure our pool didn't crack from the 19 degree temps!

It's cold here and we've had a very wet, snowy early winter! More snow to come!
