Default I hate losing things!

I have Netflix, which is awesome btw! and I got a movie a couple of weeks ago. I remember taking it into my bedroom, because i was going to lay down, and watch a movie. I fell asleep, and never saw it. I havent seen the movie since then either! I have looked in every corner, shelf, cabinet, pile of paperwork, magazines pile...you get the idea.

I wrote NetFlix and claimed it as "I damaged or lost it and wish to pay for it" $14! OMG! it wasnt even a new release! So...again MS strikes, and I cant for the life of me remember what I did with this silly movie.

Dont you hate losing things? Netflix has a policy that if I find it in the next year, and mail it back to them, they will refund my price that I paid. Who wants to take bets I find it now that I paid for it? Sheesh! I quit. That was the only trick left to try, was to just give up and admit defeat.

Have you looked in your bed?

I find stuff wadded up in the sheets, between the wall and the mattress, shoved to the end of the bed under the covers, etc. I found a book, the cordless phone, my keys, even a kitchen plate () within the covers on my bed!

I have stripped my bed down to the mattress. shook out the mattress cover, and FLIPPED the mattress! I had the DH flip it over, and we looked UNDER it, and under the bed. I have completely changed all the linens, and while I was at it, washed the blankies. I have looked in my drawers, in the stack of clothes, in case it got stacked ontop of clean laundry.

*sigh*...its exhausting to keep hunting for this silly disc!

Was it in a case? Maybe it's in the DVD player.

Good guesses, but nope, its not in the player. ANY of the players in the house. It comes in one of those paper sleeves. Its bright red/white so its hard to miss. I have opened every player. I cant find the envelope or the DVD/Blu-ray disc. I know they are both together, as that is my habit, to keep them together. I get two at a time, and normally stack them in front of the Blu-ray player. I see the other movie, but not this silly thing.

I have looked under the shelves, and under the players too. under the couch, under the chairs, under the mail and...you get the idea. I hate this disease! I cant remember anything anymore!

Check your pet's bedding....or the areas they sleep in. I kept missing barrets for my hair and one day I found three of them in Gracie's blanket! Who knows why she confiscated them.....maybe she was trying to tell me she didn't like them!

I hate losing stuff. I've gotten to where I look in the most unlikely places first.....and unfortunately (or fortunately) I've found a few things! Along while ago I found the flashlight in the freezer!!

The DH and I are slowly coming to think that it "may" have been tossed out with the recycle papers. We recycle magazines, newspapers, and such, and it would have been just too easy for it to have ended up in that pile.

I have a routine. I keep the disc by the player, when ready, I play it. When done, it goes into the OUT going mail hook. Since I removed it, and took it to the bedroom, there is just no telling how far it wandered since I went out of my MS routine.

I find with MS cog fog, I have to have a solid routine for things, or they frequently get lost, misplaced, or simply gone, gone, gone!

The thing that gets me is, I remember taking it into the bedroom. Laying in front of the PS3 player, and then....nothing! its just a blank. I took a nap, got up, went about my day, and never saw it again. I have torn that cabinet apart. The surrounding area is torn apart. All things in the br have been shaken out. its just gone! My memory isnt letting me have any memory of it, past laying it down. then...its a blank. That is what is so frustrating.

Since its MY bedroom, and no one else goes in there...it must be MY loss, or MY action that moved it, lost it, or misplaced it. The cleaning girls would have cleaned it, and put it back. Right where they got it from. They do that with all things. So...again, I have a hole in my head.

did you check the bathroom? I cannot tell you the things I have found in random places in my bathroom. Here is how it starts, I take a book and cup of coffee in the bedroom to lay down and read... then I have to go potty, so I put the coffee on the table next to the bed and the book ends up in the bathroom with me, on the counter. Then before I make it back to my bed, I see the pile of laundry that needs to be washed. I grab the basket and the coffee and head to the laundry room where I leave my coffee on top of my dryer. I then spend the next 30 minutes looking for my book.

At this point I have to go potty again and I find my book. Then I remember I lost my coffee somewhere outside of the bedroom. I go into the living room where I am bombarded with "Mommy, can I...." questions. And then Someone complains of being hungary so I make lunch for everyone. And I turn off the coffee pot. DH2B comes home and sees the lid closed on the washer and decides to dry the clothes he knows I have forgotten about. He grabs my coffee cup off the dryer and brings it to me.

The nap never gets taken, the book never read, and the coffee cup is filled with cold yucky coffee.

A year and a half ago I ran a company. I was in charge of hiring, firing, all paperwork, transportation scheduling, sales, customer service, I was the only contact with the corporate office, and all accounting for our location. Hard to believe some days!

have checked the bathroom, AND the linen closet! I have checked the magazine rack in the bathroom. I have checked the stack of towels in the linen closet, in case it got left ontop of the stack or something.

I have checked the cat corner. The box where all the cat toys get swept up into, and unfolded several cat blankets, and shook them to be sure. The cats think this is great fun.

What really ticks me off is I draw a complete blank about what I did with it, and it had to be me that did it. No one else is to blame. Stupid disease!
