Default Thank you Susan K

Struggling thru this holiday season and really working hard to pull my head out of the sand and see whats around me. Feeling abandoned by my kids, not anywhere close to my family (maybe thats a good thing) stressed by my marriage, and feeling isolated in the back woods have left me feeling abadoned out here.

Husband drags in the mail, and chucked several holiday cards on the table. Asked if I knew someone from Texas. I know loads of folks from Texas but I didnt send a single card to Texas this year. Most cards folks get each year are a reaction to the cards they receive. You send Cindylouwho a card and she sends one back to you kinda deal. Here is a single small card that is from texas and is not a reaction to the cards that got sent out from me this year. Its a Christmas miracle.

I thumbed it, and held it in my hands for a minute stunned by the kindness. hunted for a pair of glasses and used my eye drops so I could see clearly who it was from. Susan K (from right here!) managed to send me one of her expensive cards. Its beautiful. It touched me. A card just for me! not for Mrs whatever, or so in so's sister, or my co worker, or my neighbor. it was sent from across the USA just for me!

I cried. Thank you Susan. your small act of kindness has really helped me to pull my own head out of my backside. It was the hug I needed. One single act of kindness directed to ME!
