Default Contrary to Tradition, I Am NOT Wishing All a Happy New Year!

I am NOT wishing everyone a Happy New Year! I'm wishing everyone a "prosperous and enlightening" 2011. To experience "living" in the new year vs. just getting by in day to day life. To recognize and take action on your "promptings" vs. missing them because of preoccupation. To express "gratitude and appreciation" to all those important in your life vs. taking them for granted.

2011, the year of "designing your life" vs. just making a living.

Living, in spite of adversity. That is my sincere wish to all of you this new year.

spiritual growth sometimes requires agitation. To make a pearl in a clam, it must first be upset by that grain of sand. I dont always view the aggrevation stuff as such a bad thing, it has brought me to the doors of many great people, and many lessons learned.

Thanks Craig!

I love this thought.

Everyone has some sort of adversity in their life. Everyone. Even those folks who seem to live the "charmed life".

Funny as it may seem......I really don't consider my MS an adversity. It has strengthened my faith, given me a different perspective on my life and taught me to be thankful for the rich blessings I've been given. This is just part of the master plan for me and I'm determined to do something positive with it.

Points well taken, as it does require adversity and resistence for a kite to get off the ground and fly.

Another profound message, Craig. Thanks...

[I]Everyone[I] has a story...there is always a challenge in someone's life, be it illness, financial challenges, emotional challenges, family problems, etc.

We're on this earth for a short time...MS has taught me to be grateful for each sunrise, grateful for experiences throughout each day, and grateful for the love I have in my life. Everything else is frosting...granted, I'm not always in this frame of mind, especially when the depression grabs a hold of me...
