To each his/her own on the gun carrying. I prefer not, because, with my luck, it would be used to kill me. Since it is lawful, I cannot ask a person in fear for their life, to not carry.

My wish, of course is that no one carries, even the police...then there would be no worries of this ever happening again.

And further, IMHO, hunting with a gun, as a sport is cruel and should be abolished, as it is no longer necessary, for food gathering.

FYI the 7 murders (now 11 in 11 days) were in Maryland, not DC.

I agree that this shouldn't be about politics.

Mark and Jim are close friends of ours. Gabe is part of our community. We love them and cherish this relationship. God bless her. Jim's on the station right now. Mark is supposed to go up on STS-134 in late April, but I don't think he will.

We're flying the flag at half mast at the Johnson Space Center.

I saw the little 9 y/o girl donated her organs and saved the life of a Boston girl. The child who keeps on giving life, even after her own is over.

Gabby is now off the ventilator and has a trach tube, but those are MUCH more comfortable and will allow her less sedation and the ability to try and speak.

She definatly has a prince charming at her side.
