Default Change to Zodiac Calendar

So, After 41 years, I now learn I am not a Gemini but am a Taurus?

About 80% of the Gemini Characteristics really meet my personality. I haven't looked up Taurus yet.

I dont' give much stock in this, it's just fun. I don't read my horoscope daily or anything. My best friend from high school is TOTALLY into it and is furious to change from a Cancer to a Gemini. He just told me "I don't want to be a Gemini, those people are insane-every one of them, this ruined my life. I told him-for 30 years you have been the best friend of an insane Gemini- and hung up on him, he called back crying and apologizing to me... LOL.

So, what's your new sign? Do you put any stock in it?

According to the new Zodiac, I haven't changed. I'm still a Pisces.

I don't give much stock in it either. But it does go to show us that everything in this universe changes. Sometimes, change is good. I am sure all astrologists are freaking out with this news.

From the article
Quote:
A big part of the whole debate comes from a divide in the astrological world: tropical vs. sidereal zodiac. From Eric Francis of Planet Wave writes: "Kunkle is describing what is called the sidereal zodiac: the backdrop of the stars. It's not the zodiac used by most Western astrologers; it's the one used by Vedic astrologers, the kind in India, and a few in our part of the world. Here in the West, we use a zodiac that follows the seasons. It's called the tropical zodiac. It's based on the position of the Sun's rays and the tropics -- that's why it's called tropical."
You don't have to shift your sign to the "new". . . which really isn't new, just "in the news."

Besides, I am an Aquarius, stubborn, right in my own mind, a little quirky . . . and I refuse to be called a Capricorn!

That's good. I'm not changing, besides- 13 years ago I go a tattoo on my chest (about 2 x2 inches) with
My sign and Laura's signs (Gemini and Leo) intertwined and would hate to have to change it, LOL.

Default Whats your sign?

I was a Cancer and now a Gemini.
I look at it this way: If I read my Gemini horoscope and I don't like what it says......then I can just say "Oh well, I'm a Cancer anyway so let see what it has to say."

Cancer: June 22-July 22 Gemini: June 21-July 20
Your previous qualities: the tenacity with which they protect their loved ones. Your new qualities: the ability to communicate effectively and think clearly

Nope.....Gemini is allllll wrrrronnngggggg
