Default DD found a new house to rent

Many of you know my adopted DD was burned out of her home, and the family drama went over the top. Her real mom really showed herself to be unstable, and even tho she wasnt living IN the home, insisted on keeping shares of the insurance money that was provided to help with first months rent, and security deposits for those who were burned out to move on. Money for replacement undies and eye glasses...there stood mom with her hand out. I finally got the insurance company to understand that ALL needed separate checks to prevent squabbles, misunderstandings, and uneven division of funds. DD got her insurance check yesterday and found a whole house to rent. Not a condo, or apartment, a whole home to themselves. She is over the moon! She is moving in tomorrow morning.

I helped her find an apartment but real mom followed her to the same apartment building speaking of maybe renting there as well, or finding space for the sis who burned down the house. She withdrew the deposit on the place and kept looking. A separate house is a true blessing. Its also ONE mile from her work! she can walk to it, bike to it, or just stroll home for lunch to eat safely in her own kitchen.

My DD is extremely gluten sensitive and even to use a fork that someone didnt wash well after eating bread makes her very sick. She has been wandering in a world that at any moment could cause her to fall ill quickly. What a huge relief to have a clean, Gluten free kitchen again. The donations have been plentiful and the insurance generous.

To be able to live without her real mom, or real sis or the constant harrassment of what she was going thru with that gang is surely a blessing in and of itself. REal mom wanted to know if she was going to get one of the bedrooms for herself in the 3 b/d house, and DD was so firm and said NO! Im sorry, but b/f and I need our privacy and solitude to heal and recover. Wahoo! WTG Kiddo.

Thank you for all the prayers and love sent in her direction. in 8 days since the fire she has found a new home, and was provided with GF safe food from the its only natural store, and a safe place to lay her at night and has been shown that God is good, even in ugly times. She is truly going to be ok.

Wow, a true silver lining. In this case, I think that a window was closed and a door was opened instead of the opposite.
